Decision was formed out of guitarists Jerry Nimmegeers and Bjorn De Cuyper in 2007, who were looking for a new musical outlet after their previous project (Disappear) had split.
Bass player Johan Thys would have surely joined, if he hadn´t been killed in an unfortunate motorcycle accident (rest in peace friend).
Despite the tragic loss and deep sorrow, Jerry and Bjorn kept looking for new musicians.

Still in 2007, drummer Kevin Werbrouck, Singer Jimmy Jacobs and bassplayer Roger Romain joined the band. The first song they wrote (Death is not the end) was dedicated to their fallen friend and fellow musician J. Thys, so that he would be remembered in times to come.

Early 2009 bassplayer Roger Romain quit the band due to lack of time. This is where current bassplayer Jari Vanlaere stepped in and helped lay out a new general sound. Roger still fully supports the band and stays active behind the scenes of Decision.

A long struggle to find a strong and suitable voice began. In march 2011 Decision found a new leadsinger in Patrick Clessens.
Songs and lyrics reworked, our first demo will be available at shows from march 2012.
